SPECIAL MEETING UPDATE

The Special Meeting held on January 18, 2012 was a BIG success. We voted on several issues but the main issue was for us to relocate and lease a new facility. The vote was passed and Moose International was notified. We are now ready to move forward and get the new location ready for us to move into.

WE ARE STILL OPEN AT OUR CURRENT LOCATION!!!!!

We will need help with the move. We will also need help with some carpentry work so if you or you know someone please let us know. A sign up sheet is on the bar for all volunteers.

We will keep you posted on our progress.

On Wednesday January 18,2012 the Board of Officers will be having a SPECIAL MEETING at 7:00 pm with all Essex Moose 70 members ONLY. Women of the Chapter are NOT invited. The purpose of this meeting is so the Board of Officers can get the approval to lease a new building for the lodge can relocate. ESSEX MOOSE LODGE IS NOT CLOSED.

It's that time of year again. Shave your head to raise money for a cause. At the Conference in Ocean City this year Clint Rawlins is raising money for the MD DE DC Home at Mooseheart. His goal is $1,000.00 but we think we can do better then that.

Chuck Neal has already agreed to help raise money and he will be shaving his head also and will be collecting money from Moose members and friends. If you want to help our cause let Clint Rawlins or Chuck Neal know ASAP.

The Superbowl is February 5th. As usual we will be having a party with some give-a-ways and drink specials. This will also be the last Superbowl party in this building so come on down and enjoy the day with friends.

ESSEX MOOSE LODGE IS "SOLD" WE ARE STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS. IF YOU WANT MORE INFORMATION COME TO A MEETING ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

For now we are only open on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Football Sunday. We still need your support we are not able to open all week as we have done in the past. Come down and enjoy the evening with friends, Friday night dinners are available for a fair price.

Remember your suggestions are always welcome.

Please check the calander, between the lodge and women we have some events and parties planned.

If your dues are expired call the lodge and we will be able to help with a in house campaign we are running. Pay $100.00 for two (2) years dues and you will receive three (3) years paid membership.

Or if your membership has been expired for more then two (2) years we will re-enroll you for the one time low price of $35.00.

Let's not forget our purpose, that is the children at Mooseheart and the seniors at Moosehaven. Without us to support them they would be all alone in this world.
